Youth Charity Needs Musical Equipment

All the details

Youth Skills Development Trust Ltd is a charity that has worked with over 600 young people since it was established in 2009. The charity’s work is highlighted in three key areas: YSDT delivers a range of accredited vocational training to the following groups of young people: • pupils attending secondary and special-education needs schools • young people at risk of school exclusion, or who have been excluded from education • young people aged 16-19 who are not in employment, education or training. YSDT recognises that young people also benefit from engagement in positive activities during their leisure times. Since 2010, YSDT has delivered a range of informal training to young people, with the GEARZ, BEATZ and BIKEZ programmes providing young people with opportunities to learn in an informal setting, where they can meet new friends, receive relevant support and advice, and acquire new life skills. We are looking for musical equipment; instruments; mixing consoles; cables; MIDI workstations; laptops, headphones; or anything even slightly music-related to help us guide young people through our BEATZ course. BEATZ is based at Northwood Young People's Centre and covers the local, and surrounding, areas; including Harrow, Hillingdon, Brent and Hertfordshire. You can get more information about BEATZ by emailing course leader Mick Warwick, on mwarwick@ysdt.org.uk or by calling the office on 01895 - 438 828.
