Blue, White & Gold antique china/porcelain bowl, wonderful condition, A stunning blue, white and gold bowl of unknown make, inherited down the family line. Wonderful cobalt blue raised foliage adorns the outside of the bow, the veins of the leaves, parts of the flowers, and occasional spots highlighted in gold or gold-coloured substance, as is the rim of the bowl. The inside of the bowl has an unusual sideways U-shaped design around the inside with a dot between each U, with another gold ring under this. The bowl has a stand around the base with gold rings round top and bottom and raised blue vertical lines all the way round between the two. On the base, in blue, is the maker's mark, which looks like 1240 L / TL40 X / T140 K please see the photo and decide for yourself!
