BROTHER KH-230 KNITTING MACHINE WITH KR-230 RIBBER & ATTACHMENTS This listing is for a Brother KH-230 - 9mm chunky knitting machine and Ribber KR-230, both in excellent working order. This combination will knit: Stocking Stitch, Multi-Colour Intarsia, Tuck Stitch, 2 Colour Tuck Stitch, Slip Stitch, Two Colour Slip Stitch, Plating, Various Ribs, Circular Knitting, Racking Patterns, etc. With hand manipulation, it will produce other patterns (e.g. cable) and basic lace. Plating produces a reversible two-colour fabric suitable for garments, blankets and home furnishings. This sale includes: all accessories listed in the original manuals except 1 No. claw weight and 2 No. KL Setting Plates (which relate to a Knit Leader optional attachment - not part of this set). FREE-OF-CHARGE OPTIONAL EXTRA: This machine has been used with a very sturdy, purpose-made, knitting machine table, with the capacity to accommodate TWO knitting machines simultaneously (one on either side). Constructed from 4 No. sections of white melamine surfaced ‘conti-board’ type material, this unit measures 48”Long x 22” Wide x 27½” High. It would, therefore, require something like an estate car to move in its assembled form if collected in person (from HR9), although it is also capable of being “knocked-down” into flat panels (approx. 12 No. screws).
