Charge 4 Bluetooth speaker

This calls itself a Charge 4 which is a model name used by JBL. But be clear. This is NOT of JBL manufacture, despite the appearance of their logos and insignia on the body of the speaker. This is a considerably cheaper item based on the JBL design, and does not have the depth of sound of the genuine charge 4. And though it suggests on the box that it is waterproof, I don't think I'd want to test that by dropping it in the kids paddling pool. I bought it new a couple of months back, but it has since been replaced with the genuine item which does in fairness sound better. All that having been said, it works perfectly well and doesn't sound horrible. This speaker is ideal for having with you out on the decking, chilling with a glass of wine, listening to some smooth sounds and watching the sun go down.
