Dehumidifying ‘eggs’ – dry out in the microwave

This item is in Golders Green GB

All the details

Two dehumidifying ‘eggs’, in their boxes, each on its cradle, that absorb moisture with litmus paper either side that goes pink when you need to dry them out, and blue when dried out. You site these on a window sill or in your car overnight etc and the internal crystal balls absorb moisture. When the blue litmus paper shows pink, you remove the egg from the cradle, turn upside down to remove the bung, then place egg upside down without the bung and without the cradle in a mug or receptacle that goes in your microwave. Microwave only for 1 minute then cool down, 1 minute again then cool, and when the litmus paper goes blue, you can cool the egg down and replace the bung and put it back in the cradle for use. Box is approx. 13cm H x 11 x 11. £5 cash for the two. Collect North West London (NW11) halfway between Golders Green/Finchley Central, free parking. Bus stops a 3 min walk.
