Large Bird table

This was made by an environmentalist (me! Hello!) in a tiny tiny workshop, like all my other pieces this bird table is made entirely from reclaimed wood that was dumped or destined to be chipped or burned. I never buy new wood for any of my projects. There’s plenty of wood that is constantly being discarded that lovely trees spent decades growing, that’s an injustice. We must do trees justice! There are 3 available, one fully grey, and 2 with unstained wood on the table The central post is a reclaimed decking spindle and an off-cut of a fence post,, the base is reclaimed from an ex pub picnic bench, the table is made from a mixture of pallets and offcuts. It’s oiled with Osmo oil. These tables are extremely sturdy and heavy and will not blow over in the wind, nor will they rot and fall apart in a year. Constructed with glue, dowels, joins and screws.
