Not quite sure how old it is, belonged to a friends grandmother, I have cleaned and serviced the wind up music mechanism so now working very well, it was made in Switzerland but I don't recognise the name, if anyone does perhaps you could tell me. The top has a few very minor abrasions so being polished wouldn't go amiss, the inlaid carving looks very pleasant. It is made from mahogany unstained so quite light. Sorry about the apparently wonky legs, didn't notice until I went to take them off that they are in fact numbered with a series of number 7's, i.e. the 3rd leg has 3 x number7 stamped into the base and the corresponding leg. Not sure of the significance of why a number 7, unless that is the mark of the craftsman who made it?? Collection from Dunstable LU5 area
