Philips' first full size Digital Compact Cassette (DCC) recorder which represents a landmark in hi-fi industry as it tried - along with Sony's MiniDisc system - be the digital successor to the analogue compact cassette system. Both of course failed as neither saw the Apple iPod coming and the rise of MP3 as the true successor! This is nonetheless a great machine and should be part of every hi-fi collector's portfolio. Please note this worked well the last time I tried it but it has not been plugged in for several years, now.
