Rope-hanging Shelves - made from recycled materials

This item is in Hemel Hempstead GB

All the details

Here's my rope-hanging shelves. Like all my pieces, this item was made in my tiny tiny workshop and is made from 100% salvaged wood that would have otherwise been discarded, chipped or burned. I never ever buy new wood. These hanging rope shelves are made from salvaged curtain ties and broken pine drawer fronts, the rope is 100% cotton and the solid pine shelves have been oiled and waxed to give a natural finish. Shelf length - 74cm Shelf depth -16cm Distance between shelves - 21cm Total height when hanging - 80cm Here's the thing I'm on a mission to prove a point, that we don't need to keep cutting down trees and stuffing old things in landfill in order to have nice furniture when there's plenty of 'scrap' 'surplus' 'firewood' that's local to us and despite its label is still good quality wood and can be made into something nice again Message me for any details, I love a good natter.
