Solid oak extendable dining table

6 year old 4-6 extendable dining table. Bought for @ £500 from Oakfurnitureland , However, the item had, unknown to us, one faulty leg leg joint while under guarantee. This was “mended” by the recommended representative but has subsequently needed further attention, out of guarantee. As a result of this action., the central extension piece has been impossible to bring into the correct position. After further attention this piece has now completely fallen out. To make this table completely usable again, it needs the attention of an experienced carpenter or possibly one to practice on while learning the trade. The price reflects the overall quality of the table and, given the age and sturdiness would be very saleable when mended. Thank you for looking.
