Really wonderful 100% genuine Steiff Raccoon in absolute mint condition for its (approx) 40 year-old age. Purchased from an accredited Steiff seller 5 years ago as part of a collection, that I intended to expand yet simply didn't. Fully tagged with a variety of fab mohair furs and also soft-bodied makes this creature a unique plush toy, Steiff history manufactured both 'stiff straw and semi-soft polyester' filled animals, towards softer-bodies by 1960's-80's, yet much more collecible in 21st century. Purchased for £42.00 in 2013 so would now be worth a tad far more as Steiff vintage collectibles remains a solid growing market and favoured toy-pastime.
