All the details

Apple G5 Mac Pro PowerPC - not working; may be good for parts - or maybe you can fix it! My employer gave these away when they bought new computers. I don;t know how old it is - probably at least 4-5 years old. I was told it works but it doesn't start up for me. It does power up, just doesn't display anything on my monitor. It could be a very simple fix, but I'm no IT expert! Welcome free to anyone who may be able to fix it or use for parts.  Keyboard and power cable are included. Dual 2.3 Ghz 512Mb RAM 250GB HDD If you'd like to purchase extra RAM for it, it needs to be the following:  PC2-4200U. Pickup Sat 6th or Sun 7th June ideally.

Hi, Just to let you know the fix to the problem is really simple. By the sounds of it you need to get a DVI to VGA adaptor as your monitor might only take an analogue connector signal (VGA). However as the MAC G5 only has DVI which is only Digital, so all you will need is a DVI to VGA adaptor. This should sort the problem out, but just to make sure you should research the monitor you was testing the MAC on.
