asbestos is dangerous - in my opinion you should get a specialist company in to remove these -this could be a health and safety issue - this site should check if this is ok to offer these

Hi. For good reason, the supply of asbestos has been banned in the UK since 1999, though it is still legal to sell a building that contains asbestos. I believe offering it here would be considered as supply. The sheets are quite large, but absolutely should not be broken to make them smaller. If you take appropriate precautions for health of yourself and others, most council civic amenity sites will accept double-bagged asbestos. But do check first, do wear a filter mask and gloves, better still - call in professionals. Since these are already removed, disposal may be cheaper than you think.
