This is a bookcase that stands on a base with a drawer. The bookcase was made in 1904 for my grandmother and I don't really want to let it go but we simply have no more room for it. The glass in the bookcase is fine but the wood has some signs of wear and tear but it is acceptable. The base containing a drawer is in poorer condition. It needs sanding and repainting. The drawer handles are rusty and could be painted or replaced. Alternatively the bookcase could stand on any flat surface and the base with drawer could be disposed of. The bookcase has a simple lock and key. It has several strong wooden shelves that are adjustable and well supported. I really don't want to take this to the tip so WILL DELIVER IF WITHIN 10 MILES.
