This piano has been in my friend's family for generations and has been well used. It was made by Broadwood, one of the best English manufacturers for centuries The serial number is SN12684 dating it as between 1925 and 1932 (Broadwood is one of the best English manufacturers. (http://www.broadwood.co.uk/serial_numbers.html#Cottage%20 Uprights). It hasn't been tuned for a while, and has some "family" knocks, so will need some TLC. Otherwise, it plays beautifully and has a lovely tone. The piano is very heavy. It took 3 of us and a van to get it here!
