Children's Britannica (3rd edition 1973, published 1975). Condition is Like New. The Children's Britannica is made up of 20 volumes, 19 containing "encyclopaedia articles" and the 20th being the Index. At the end of each volume is a section on things to do or make relevant to some of the articles in that volume. The articles are arranged in alphabetical order from"Abbey" at the beginning of Volume 1 to "Zurich" at the end of Volume 19. The coverage is comprehensive but easily easily understood. The volumes are bound attractively with golden lettering. the alphabetical coverage is shown clearly on the front cover of each volume. The item is being sold because our children have grown up. The 20 volumes fit in one document box.
