5.1 surround sound computer speakers. Still works fine. Comes with all cables necessary. Comes with 7 satellite speakers, but only five can be used, the other two are spare. Subwoofer front grill is a bit loose, held on with duct tape. The plug for the volume control doesn't fit very well and needs to be pushed in quite tight; if there's no sound when you've set it up, this is probably the problem.
