Epson R1800 A3 Printer and ink

Well it's an Epson R1800 printer will come with power cable USB cable and lots of ink. It has the Maruett refillable ink system and ink which is now quite old 12 months or more though the ink is worth about £180.00 so if it is still good and you can get it going then you'll be able to make lots of prints. This while I'm giving it away is not for the novices, really someone familiar with Epson printers and their woes would be best. The heads I think are certainly clogged up and will need flushing. I did have communication problems but I think it settled down it's been ages since I used it. I did buy a printer head cleanup kit but my patience has worn out and have since gone for a newer Canon wireless model I've never had much joy with Epson printers. I wrestled with printer feeder issues for ages but after some googling it does at least feed paper now so I can confirm mechanics are ok. Once you do it get going you will need to print regularly otherwise it'll clog up again. I inherited it from someone else who gave it to me for free so it feels wrong to sell it and with it's ability to actually go uncertain. The printer has no Wifi so you will need to plug it into a PC / Mac or you could setup a Raspberry Pi with a CUPS printer server or use an old Netbook with XP and share it that way.
