All the details

A while ago I was given a pile of wooden flooring - This is the engineered type with about three millimetres of solid wood (oak?) on top of a plywood base. There was enough to cover the floors of two rooms at home but not enough for a third. So I have about eight square metres of flooring left over made up of some full length planks and some shorter pieces. It's in good condition but as it was second hand there might be the odd scratches or other marks. I also have a similar amount of flooring planks which I rejected for various reasons - either the planks were a bit curved, had paint marks or were otherwise damaged. It may be possible to salvage some usable pieces from this second pile. The flooring is free but you would need to collect it from my home in Stoneleigh near Epsom. The longest planks are about two metres long so they should fit in an estate car with the seats folded.

Hi. I was just wondering if you knew ruffly what size room the flooring would cover? If you could get back to me I would be grateful. Many thanks

Hi There's about 8 square metres of flooring so a room say 3 metres by 2.5 metres. It may be possible to use some parts of the rejected flooring planks as well so you might be able to cover a slightly bigger room.
