Hotpoint 7kg Aquarius washing machine

Hi everyone I have a hotpoint Eco tech 7kg Aquarius washing machine. It makes all the right noises but doesn't spin. I have bought a new belt which I have fitted but can't seem to keep it on. I bought a brand new machine as we are a family of 5 so needed a bigger drum. The drum inside is still bright silver with no rust. It does need a little clean from being stored in my downstairs loo. Free to who ever can collect. I am in Elvetham heath GU51.
