Kingsize bed - pine bedframe and mattress

This item is in Witley GB

All the details

The King size pine bed frame has a slatted base. It has had a couple of minor repairs to one of the horizontal supporting struts but these don't show when the bed is assembled, and it still functions. It is in good condition but not perfect. It may suit someone who is happy to give it a coat of paint. The bed frame dismantles into more transportable sections i.e. headboard, footboard, and the slats. The mattress is used, but in good condition and clean. It has always been used with a mattress protector on it. It is a sprung Silent Night Miracoil mattress. It has a medium tension and is comfortable for most body weights. (We have up-graded to a super king size bed so it no longer fits). Ideally some one would take both parts of the bed, but if we can't find someone to do this we will let them go separately.

Hello, i am a female professional and i will move tomorrow in a room at Low Bourne. I am interesting to see the bed but i am unable to transfer it. Could you do this for me? Bets regards Maria

Hi Maria, Thanks for your interest in the bed, unfortunately we do not have the means to transport it. The bed frame dismantles into a headboard and a footboard and then there are all the slats. But it would still require some kind of van and obviously the mattress would as well. If you are hiring a van for your move then you could pop over in that. We are in Milford. Just let me know.

We are also interested in this - once dismantled, would it fit into an estate car (Vauxhall Vectra)?

Hi, if this is still available, could you please let me know the height of the headboard? We think it will fit in our car in its constituent parts, although we might have to do two runs. We are thrilled to be having all the family coming for Christmas, but can't afford to buy new beds for everyone!

Thanks for all the interest, the bed has now been collected by the first person who contacted me.
