This is a slightly quilted mattress protector. I don't think it's supposed to be waterproof. I got it for a standard double and the instructions said to launder before use. So I did. It came out, as posted, 46 x 72. So either it shrunk or was too small for even a small double in the first place. Anyway, I thought it might work for a child's bed, a pet, or something.
