Micro Hifi system

I have a hifi system, cd player and radio that doesn't seem to be working. It does switch on and lights up but I can't get it to play a cd. If you are an electronics wiz and would like to see if you can get it to work you are very welcome to have it. It is not particularly old and cost about £40 new a few years ago.
