This item is not currently working as I got the bit wet you're not supposed to get wet. I've tried changing the fuse but no luck. So it's only for people who know what they're doing! It's a bit careworn but, until I messed it up, it worked well. To be collected.

What got wet, just the plug socket? Does it have one of those mesh filters in the spout?

Um, the base of the kettle got wet when I descaled it and it wasn't dry enough when I put it back on the stand. The mesh bit got lost over the years.
