This item is four years old and has been working perfectly. It is very powerful and quite quiet in operation (we used it in extraction mode, though it could be converted to recirculation with the appropriate kit, which you could buy from Neff). We still have the installation and user instructions. There is one grease filter which is very easy to remove/refit and can be washed in a dishwasher, and there are 4 halogen lights. We cut the top section of chimney down by about 10 cm to raise the height, but it is still possible to buy a new piece of chimney from Neff if you have a higher ceiling (ours are 2.1 metres) We are only replacing it because my husband is 6'5" tall and our ceilings are not high enough for us to raise it any more so that he doesn't bang his head on it! I am 5'6" tall and can work very easily with it. It is in very good condition with no scratches etc. although there is a little paint on the top edge of the chimney where it was fitted. When new the item cost around £500 and although this one is now discontinued, I think the nearest equivalent is the Neff 189EH52NOB which is currently selling at John Lewis for £713.
