Bolt-to-the-bench-top (or drill-press deck) quick release vice. The quick release lever is in the plastic bag 0 screws into the lateral shaft above the pull handle. I tried it after taking the photo (duh!) and it all works. (Haven't used it for years; has been stored in its box; all moves smoothly).
