Sainsburys kettle - not working, maybe repairable

Hello, my kettle (Sainsbury's "Traditional Kettle Sage", sku 125433272, 1.7 liters, pale green) now only works sometimes, when it likes. I guess it's an issue with the thermostat. Happy to give it away if somebody feels like repairing it! I thought I'd offer it first before binning it...
