Single sprung matress

I have a blue checked sprung matress for a single bed. It is very clean and came new with my granddaughters bed. This matress has had very little use, we changed it for another more suitable for her. It is too good for the tip and ideal as a child's first matress. In my opinion it needs a thick blanket or similar to add more covering over the springs, but it may just be me being used to foam type matresses! Matress comes with a fleece matress cover.
