A 52 volume set of children's encyclopaedias, published by Mitchell Beazley, originally built up week-by week. It comprises 40* volumes of encyclopaedias plus a 12 volume Fact Finder giving brief summaries of thousands of topics. Although published in 1987 and well-used by two sets of children, this set is in excellent condition and still useful for school projects on such things as volcanoes and rainforests. Very clear pictures help explain complicated concepts. * Volume 7 is missing. To make up for this I have added another hardback book - 'Early years: childhood of famous people', published by Purnell in 1965.
