VINTAGE BUSY NEEDLES MAGAZINE Busy Needles was published weekly by Marshall Cavendish of London, late 70s early 80s. Each booklet contained 28 pages. Part 1 was a special bumper issue with 36 pages. Each booklet contains a Pattern Library, Step by Step instructions, Know How, Needlewoman's Notebook and a Gallery. On re-reading these, so much of the information is timeless and the very clear instructions with diagrams on learning to crochet and knit are great. It measures 11.25" x 8.50" very slightly shorter than A4 paper size. This item contains 2 issues, No.1 and No.4 both in very good condition with the spines and all pages intact. Slight fading around edges of back cover of No.4 and back cover of No.1 has a crease top and bottom corners which I have tried to show in photos. With these crafts now becoming popular again, these vintage books will provide some ideas.
