Vintage cane carpet beater

Vintage woven cane carpet beater. Victorian style but I don't know exact age - bought at a flea market many years ago. In fair condition but a bit of the cane has come loose at the top of the handle - see picture. Top of handle taped up. Bottom of handle metal - a few small dents. Having a loft clear out so it's free!
