A group of three vintage dress-making fabrics: - A cotton/man-made mix in a beautiful, ready pleated eau-de-Nil green, at least 50 years old: 140cm (56") wide and 76cm (30") long. An attempt at making a (giant!) skirt is visible and it was then meant to be given a new lease of life as a different garment but my (tiny) mum never got around to it! A perfect Transformation Challenge for all aspiring Sewing Bees... - 5m (5.4yds) x 89cm (35") excellent quality dark blue lining, originally meant to line a full-length velvet cape... - A most delicate chiffon with tiny floral pattern, ideal for a long, 70's style summer dress! 78cm (30") wide x 3.70m (4yds) long.
