Dishwasher

All the details

I put my dishwasher on the system and it is marked "Under offer" (under "My items") and the "for sale" button (in "items for sale") has disappeared. Only trouble is I do not know who has offered or how to contact them. I can't find any way of asking the right person how to deal with this! PS I think this concept is great

Hi Nelsonp from FreelyWheely HQ. Your item was listed, but no requests were made and the listing has now finished after 7 days. You would have received an automatically generated Email from FW telling you this. If you go to the "My items" button at the top of the page and click it your item will come up on the screen. You can re-list it if you want by clicking the button on the right of the screen. Hope this helps and glad you like the system. Luv FreelyWheely.

Thanks for responding, but you have missed the point. The "For sale" button disappeared after less than one day and the ad appeared under "My items" as "under offer". But I had received no email saying someone had made an offer and I could not "un-offer" it. As I had had no reply by Monday afternoon (after about 2 days), I removed the ad as I took the dishwasher to the tip.

Thank you for your reply and we are sorry it turned out that way. Sometimes things don't get a request until they have been on for several days. For very popular items there are often several requests, leaving the giver a chance to select a worthy requester. Alternatively, givers occasionally end their items early for various reasons. We hope this hasn't put you off using FreelyWheely. It's a great site and we hope to see you back soon. Luv FreelyWheely.

Thanks. I shall certainly continue to use the site as we have had very good experiences. Do you have any idea why it appeared to be under offer when no-one had offered?

We are developing different arms of the website for different purposes and you might have been caught up in the middle of this research and development activity. We do have comprehensive logs showing when items were posted and when requests were made. That's how we were able to determine that your item did not receive any requests. We are very hot on security and encourage all users to only communicate through the FreelyWheely Email system, so that personal information is not disclosed. Luv FreelyWheely and seasonal greetings.
